Latin GCSE

"Mrs dC played a pivotal role in me accomplishing my Latin GCSE. The only reason I decided to carry on doing Latin for my GCSEs was Mrs dC. I love teaching Latin GCSE. It is a chance to explore the language in greater depth and to study the literature again, which is a real treat.

Latin is another string to a person's academic bow - the study of it brings a far greater understanding of our own language as well as our culture and heritage. It requires intellectual rigour which makes it an attractive subject for university admissions teams.

Some independent and state schools now struggle to offer Latin as a GCSE, which is where an online tutor can help fill the gap.
